BSEC Issues New Direct Listing Rules-2026

The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has issued the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (Direct Listing of Securities on the Stock Exchange) Rules, 2026, through a notification dated 13 October 2026, published in the Bangladesh Gazette on 18 October 2026.

The new rules establish a regulatory framework for the direct listing of equity securities of eligible companies on the main board of any stock exchange in Bangladesh. The rules have come into force with immediate effect. This regulatory development marks an important step in the evolution of Bangladesh’s capital market framework, providing specific rules governing the direct listing of eligible companies.
