ABM Hussain Ahmed, FCA is a qualified Chartered Accountant who has become an Associate Member (ACA) in the year 1980 and subsequently became a Fellow Member (FCA) in 1987, bearing Enroll No. 242, of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh ((ICAB). He has a finance & professional expertise in abroad, having around 50 years of experience in the field of Government owned Commercial bank (20yrs) including the Central Bank of the U.A.E (11yrs). He was in practice as a partner for about 11 years with Shafiq Mizan Rahman & Augustine, Chartered Accountants. Additionally served as the chairman of audit committee in the Fareast Islami Life Insurance Company Ltd. for about three years from 2018 to 2021. He has intensive experience across a variety of internal and external audit, finance, accounts and eventually a very good banker and auditor with a sound knowledge in Banking & Corporate Affairs, Internal Control, Forensic & Investigation Audit, Dispute Resolution Process, Anti Money Laundering Mechanism, Business Process Outsourcing etc. He is well trained in Companies Act, International Accounting & Audit Standards, analytical review, Initial Public Offering (IPO) procedures, internal control mechanism etc. He has proven experience in his career in budgetary control, commercial operation, feasibility study, asset valuation etc. Also a very good decision maker in Business Restructuring. Being an active member he is also involved in various social and religious activities. He attended in various seminars & conferences arranged by the different bodies including foreign entities. Md. Ahmed is the Managing and Founding Partner of Ahmed Masum & Co., Chartered Accountants and Branch-in-Charge of its Principal Office.
